Introduction
Hello and welcome to the ETVOS website. ETVOS is the acronym for Enlightenment: The Voice of Spirit. We hope that the website will go some way into helping to understand and appreciate all about Spiritualism and the afterlife.
It is not our intention to convert you to Spiritualism but purely to put forward our beliefs and philosophy on life. Often our beliefs are made fun of or shown in a way that gives us a bad image. Like any other faith, we have our fair share of, shall we say, oddballs! Wouldn’t life be boring if we were all the same?
We know that Spiritualism is not perfect and like in all walks of life it can and does attract con artists who prey upon the grieving and the vulnerable. We agree that these people are cruel and heartless and have no place within true Spiritualism. As with everything, this tiny minority make it very hard for genuine Spiritualists to gain respectability for their beliefs without being accused of being frauds.
Spiritualists are NOT scary people and NOT to be feared and avoided at all times. We are NOT talking to or working for the Devil, as we are often accused. The plain, honest truth is that we are ordinary people just with a different outlook on life.
It’s your choice to accept our point of view or not. As always with Spiritualism, there is no obligation. We believe that everyone has freewill and their own unique spiritual pathway to experience and learn from. Whatever your faith, if any, we wish you well upon your journey of self-discovery and spiritual awareness.
