There is a place that no one knows of.
It is a very special place, for it is found deep within the soul.
Only truth and honesty can exist there.

When troubles become too much for me, I retreat to this place,
but sometimes I get lost along the way,
as the lies and deception of life become hard to discern.

The time in this place is well spent, for it is time to reflect,
the time to look deep within the soul, and learn to love oneself.
It is the time to discover the truth about you.
For in this special place you are the sole judge and jury, of your life.

Over a period of time in my life, I have built the solid foundations of spirituality.
I am aware of Spirit. I know they are with me, through the good and bad times.

So why am I afraid to listen to the inner self, the spiritual self?
I have the potential, and the wisdom earned through many lifetimes.
But the physical reality always seems to cloud my mind.

Problems seem to snowball in to great boulders of trouble,
And yet these worries are a creation within my mind,
For in reality I have made the crisis worst by my doubts and indecisions.

If only we could stop and listen to the voice of the inner self,
and be allowed to be who we really want to be.
The person we discovered in that special place, and not what people think we should be.

And yet we afraid to let go, of what, our insecurities? Our doubts? Our negativity?
Good riddance to them I say.

But it is hard, to put aside those materialistic worries,
and to have complete faith in our true spiritual nature.
It is the great battle between truth – our spirituality and, self deception – the physical reality.
Which is going to win?

Spirituality is always being suppressed by the materialistic life we live.
But it is striving to be heard and felt, by constantly tapping away at the wall of life,
Until you are forced to take heed and flee to that special place.
To take stock, and listen to those instincts, which speak only truth and wisdom.

If only we could capture that place, and bring it to the physical world with us,
to display it with pride for all to see.

The self acknowledgement and realisation that we are Spirit
I am a spiritual person therefore I shall live my life as a spiritual person

My doubts and insecurities will be left behind in that special place,
for I shall never doubt my faith in myself again.
And with this new found knowledge and self determination,
the only way for me now is forward in truth and honesty.
