Within the Spiritualist Movement inspired writings and art generally refer to articles written/drawn/painted etc that either goes beyond the ability of the person who has produced them, or it is a completely different style of writing/drawing.
This is commonly known as inspirational writing and psychic art – being inspired by Spirit. However, if the person is in trance then the Spirit Communicator would be producing the article/art through them, and this would not be a case of inspired work.
