Based on and in accordance with the Code of Conduct issued by the UK Healers if you wish to conduct healing on animals you must first seek the consent of the veterinary surgeon. Failure to do so could lead to prosecution under the Veterinary Surgeons Act 1966 and the Protection of Animals Act 1911. As a Healer you have the obligation to make the owner aware that veterinary advice/treatment should be obtained.
