LET’S CELEBRATE SPIRITUALISM

Spiritualism as a belief system is always on the defensive, often trying to justify its existence because the media and people who fear Spiritualism create such a negative image about Spiritualist’s. As Spiritualists’ we should be proud of our philosophy of life and just like any other faith our belief system should be celebrated world-wide.

It does not matter what Spiritualist organisation/group you belong to we should all be united on one day of the year to celebrate our faith together. Let our voice be heard, after all, we are a valid belief system that is far older than any of the mainstream religions today.

So what day do we choose to celebrate Spiritualism? Well modern day Spiritualism started with the Fox sisters on March 31st, or we could just choose a day in the summer like the longest day June 21st, July 1st etc. If you would like to propose a date please email the charity via the link below with the date and why you have chosen it. This information then can be put forward to the Spiritualist Movement as a whole for voting. Please note the ‘Spiritualism Celebration Day’ should not be associated with any other religious celebration day.

Spiritualism is so diverse because of its freedom of thought and the individuals own spiritual progression and level of understanding. Do not let this wonderful diversity split Spiritualists’ to the extent that the general public are so confused about our philosophy on life that they use it against us in a very detrimental way.

There are many Christian faiths that celebrate Christmas so by uniting and celebrating our belief system, does not mean we have to forego our beliefs and lose our uniqueness. By celebrating one day of the year the Spiritualist Movement is saying ‘I am a Spiritualist and proud of it’.

Please be a part of the future of Spiritualism and to help make it a positive one.

Thank you.

Please note we are a small charity and may not be able to answer your email.
